Over time, there has been an opportunity to deliver training sessions in very different settings — from teaching a 16-year-old the basics of service etiquette, allergy awareness, and guest care, to presenting formal disciplinary or performance improvement processes to senior managers. Regardless of the audience, the core principles stay the same: it is always about engaging people.

Like many others, I have spent time watching countless TED Talks on effective presenting—open body language, purposeful tone, and, ideally… staying calm under pressure. 😳

But the biggest difference always comes down to believing in the message's value and importance. When the topic feels meaningful and relevant, delivering it with confidence and clarity becomes much more natural.

Attached is a short slideshow from a recent training session on disciplinary investigations. This provides an example of how information is structured and communicated in a clear, engaging, and professional way. ( Just click on icon if you wish to see any specific section. 😉)
